About Human Values And Professional Ethics Cell
The Human Values and Professional Ethics Cell of the college is dedicated to promoting ethical awareness, moral responsibility, and value-based education among students. In alignment with UGC guidelines and the objectives of legal education, the Cell undertakes initiatives that encourage the development of integrity, social responsibility, and professional conduct.
The Cell organizes lectures and activities to sensitize students towards ethical practices in the legal profession and to instill respect for human dignity, equality, and constitutional values. It also observes significant days such as Consumer Rights Day, Zero Discrimination Day, and Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj Jayanti, to connect legal education with real-life social and ethical concerns. Additionally, sessions on Professional Ethics are conducted as part of practical training to prepare students for ethical challenges in their professional careers.
Aim
To inculcate human values, ethical principles, and professional responsibility among students, fostering their holistic development in accordance with UGC guidelines.
Objectives
- To promote awareness of human values, ethics, and social responsibility among students.
- To organize lectures and sessions on professional ethics as part of legal education and practical training.
- To observe and commemorate important days such as Consumer Rights Day, Zero Discrimination Day, and Shivaji Maharaj Jayanti.
- To encourage students to uphold values of equality, justice, and human dignity.
- To integrate value-based education with academic learning.
- To develop a sense of ethical responsibility essential for the legal profession.
