The Hindi Vidya Prachar Samiti College of Law offers two courses in law:
(i) Three year and
(ii) Five year law degree course.
Each of these courses is independent of the other and is in accordance with the rules laid down by the University of Mumbai and the Bar Council of India. Each course has its own admission criteria.

The 3 Year Law Course120 SEATS
|
Any Candidate who has completed graduation in any stream from University of Mumbai or an equivalent degree from any other University can seek admission for the 3 years LL.B. course. The exams are conducted in a 2 semester per year pattern. On completion of the three year course, i.e., after the 6th semester, the LL.B. degree is awarded. Students who desire to study the law, but do not wish to practice as advocates are eligible for the LL.B. (General) Degree, at the end of the 2nd year i.e. after the 4th semester.

The 5 Year Law Course120 SEATS

The B.A., LL.B. is an integrated five-year undergraduate programme that can be pursued by candidates who have successfully completed the Higher Secondary Certificate (HSC) Examination (10+2) or an equivalent examination from a recognized Board in India. The programme follows a semester pattern with two semesters each academic year. The first two years of the programme (Semesters I to IV) comprise the Pre-Law component, providing students with
a strong foundation in the social sciences and legal studies.

THE 2 YEAR POSTGRADUATION COURSE (120 SEATS)
Any candidate who has completed graduation in LL.B. (3 year or 5 year course) from University of Mumbai or from any other University can seek admission for the 2 years LL.M. course. The exams are conducted in a 2 semester per year pattern. On completion of the 2 year course, i.e., after the 4th semester, the LL.M. degree is awarded.

Post Graduate Diploma Courses |
One-Year Post Graduate Diploma Programmes in Alternative Dispute Resolution (ADR), Cyber Law & Information Technology, and Intellectual Property Rights (IPR) are offered in the Hybrid Mode and are designed for graduates from any discipline seeking specialized legal knowledge and practical skills in emerging areas of law. The curriculum combines academic learning with practical exposure through expert lectures, case studies, and interactive sessions, enabling students and working professionals to enhance their professional competence and career prospects. Upon successful completion of the programme and the prescribed University examinations, candidates are awarded the Post Graduate Diploma by the University of Mumbai.
