The Anti-Ragging Committee has been established as per the UGC Regulations on Curbing the Menace of Ragging in Higher Educational Institutions, 2009
Objectives:
- To conduct workshops against ragging and direct the students against ragging practices.
- To offer student-friendly counselling and create awareness against ragging amongst students.
- To take all necessary measures for prevention and prohibition of ragging inside the college campus.
- To consider the complaints received from the students and conduct enquiry and submit a report to the Chairperson of Anti- Ragging Committee along with punishment recommended for the offenders.
- To take anti-ragging measures as per the guidelines issued by the Supreme Court of India and the UGC.
