In accordance with the UGC Regulation, the college has set up the Women Development Cell.
Objectives:
- To develop a sense of equal opportunity and freedom in various dimensions of the society.
- To consider the complaints received from the students of sexual harassment against women by students and college employees; and conduct enquiry and submit a report to the chairperson of the Women Development Cell along with punishment recommended for the offenders.
- To uplift the self-esteem of depressed female students who face violence and discrimination of certain forms in society.
- To create a safe space for female students in terms of boosting their morale in mental, physical and emotional aspects.
- To organize events such as seminars, conferences and activities for women empowerment.
- To create an environment that will help the female students to realize their absolute potential and strive for the best.
